ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I have an art history BA from UCLA and a master's in library science from UNC Chapel Hill. Currently, I live in the Seattle area and work in instructional design for Microsoft.

I first came across Outsider Art through Roger Cardinal's book of the same name while doing a thesis on the origins of Surrealism. Facteur Cheval's Palais Ideal was covered in this seminal art work. Grab a copy if you can find one!
